Health Appointments


Treforest Campus Face to Face and telephone appointments are available and can be booked via Advice Zone Online.  Please include your mobile number in the notes section of the online booking form. You can also include a brief message about your Health issue or query is if you wish.  


Cardiff & Newport  -  At this present time , unfortunately we are unable to provide face to face nurse appointments at our Cardiff or Newport campuses, however telephone appointments are available and can be booked via Advice Zone Online. Please include your mobile number in the notes section of the online booking form along with a small description of what the appointment will be about. 


Please note – if booking a telephone appointment, sometimes the calls will be from a 'withheld' number, so please check your phone settings to ensure your handset will receive them

Treforest - Campus Doctors

Ashgrove Surgery provide the GP provision for those Students living in the Treforest area and have completed the required registration

To Register for this Gp practice please refer to information on our register page

Ashgrove Surgery hold GP clinics on Treforest campus every other Tuesday and hope to resume more regular clinic sessions again in September 2022   

If you wish to book a GP appointment on campus please contact Ashgrove surgery on 01443 404 444 and ask for an appointment on campus or alternatively; visit Ashgrove E-Consult and follow the prompts to complete an E-Consult request.  

Doctors appointments CANNOT be booked via Advice Zone online.



Confidentiality

Confidentiality is obviously very important and is taken seriously by the Nursing team. Your medical records will remain confidential except in extreme circumstances. Details of the full policy are available on the Confidentiality page.

If you feel you have not received a good service from the Wellbeing Service (of which USW Health Service is a part) you may wish to follow the complaints procedure.
