Monday 14th May. This year the focus is on stress.

Stress is not a mental health problem in itself, but it is a key cause of mental health problems like depression and anxiety and is often linked to self-harm and suicide.
Stress is also known to lead to physical health problems like muscle and joint pain and cardiovascular problems.

Spotting the signs of stress early is crucial to enabling us to manage it and ensuring it isn’t allowed to develop into a more serious problem.
